Akbar Hydari
Sir Muhammad Akbar Nazar Ali Hydari, ''Sadr ul-Maham'',〔(Edinburgh Gazette, 8 June 1928 )〕 PC (born 8 November 1869–died November 1941) was an Indian politician. He served as the Prime Minister of Hyderabad State from 18 March 1937 to September 1941.〔(Hyderabad, Princely States of India ), WorldStatesmen.org〕
==Personal life==
Hydari was born on 8 November 1869 in Bombay to a Muslim family. He served in the Indian Audit and Accountancy Service before moving to Hyderabad State where he became the finance minister and later the prime minister. He founded the Osmania University and was largely responsible for the restoration of the Ajanta caves.〔 He also represented Hyderabad at the First Round Table Conference during November 1930 – January 1931.
In January 1936, he was appointed a member of the Privy Council of the United Kingdom.〔(Edinburgh Gazette, 7 January 1936 )〕 He was appointed in 1941, he was appointed as a member of the Viceroy's Executive Council.
